hey,does anyone know if rear lights will fail an MOT if they have been tinted using that tinting spray stuff?and if it does fail what can i do to pass it e.g. will i need extra reflectors?cheers

mine passed, as did my MHW's and my irmscher's , jsut need reflectors

excellent,cheers mate,i bought some reflective tape as they didn't have any reflectors in halfrauds it'll probably leave a big sticky mess when i try and remove it after the MOT!! £3.99 aswell,rip off!lol,cheers anways!

as rob said you need a red reflector on the back

oh boll*x!! i bought the normal white reflector one!lol! looks like a trip back to halfrauds early tomorrow then!!cheers

don't think there will be time now,MOT's 12:O0 tomorrow which means I'd have to go to the scrappy early,fit the lights then drive to the MOT centre

just go down scrappy at 10, stick the reflector to rear bumper and its all done!

Just letting you know - certain MOT garages dont accept "Reflective Tape" it needs to be a RED plastic reflector. I got mine on ebay - stuck them on very gently through MOT then whipped them off as i drove out.

car passed it's MOT however now the farking reflective tape is stuck on and won't come off !!gonna try using hot water or a hair dryer to soften it...any other ideas?
