is it for your car? for a tuned car like yours i would recomend a GM or a uprated headgasket, and you defently need new head bolts, which are about £25 for 10. and you should replace the cambelt too. U2u me if you need the torque settings for the engine

that looks like an fia headgasket set in which case they are pretty good quality. Only thing i would say is dont use the rocker cover gaskets in that set. Get genuine rocker cover gaskets from vauxhall everytime, much dearer but at least they wont leak!

Ask yor motorfactors for 'PAYEN' gaskets. They are better than any others I have ever used, inc GM stuff.
FIA arent bad but they have had probs with headgaskets. When mine went recently it was an FIA item and it was shocking how badly it had broken up over just 15k miles.
If you have probs getting payen items give me a shout.

and people think that the x14xe and x16xe engines have problems with cam cover gaskets.
the truth is that most people dont use the correct sealing compound or re-fit the cover bolts in the correct sequence or torque them up properly.

i find i have problems with the x14,16,18,20xe rocker cover gaskets unless i use genuine vaux ones.
And i'm fitting them in no different way regardless of make. The vauxhall ones are better quality!

As Dave said I'd go for a Payne one, and yes I'd also get new headbolts.
Cutting corners isn't really a good idea
