have searched for the paperclip test and got a thread:

but am not sure where to find the wires that i need to bridge and is there a common fault if that little orange light comes on and stays on while driving and the car has been bit funny when idling??

if you read that link, it doesnt say where the wires etc are - need to know that before i can bridge them!!

is that fault not common then?! just thought i herd a few people mention it?!

There should be a plug near the battery which has a cover on it, usually grey.
