I have a corsa sport 1.4 16v X14XE.
When i was out in it yesterday i changed into 2nd, and the battery light came on, then the engine management light came on soon after, then my revs cut out, then the power steering went, then my brakes went. I got it to the side of the road and i havn't been able to start it scince.
It ticks over fine, the cam belt is fine, everything else works, all fuses are ok. It just wont start. Its like as if i havn't got a transponder in my key type of thing, but both my keys are fine.
What would cause it to just cut out like this? I have also had a scanner joined to my ECU but it showed no fault codes.
Anyone got any other ideas of what it could be ?
Thanks,
Alex

Does the engine management light flash when you try and turn the key? That would mean its immobilised then.

Millions of things, get it towed to a garage and have them to do a diagnosis on it.

Diagnosis ? Like the ECU scanner ? or a more thorough check ?
A lad i know is coming to have a look at it later for me, so hopefully he will know something.

Just had the bloke from breakdown service come to do homestart cover, he couldn't fix it there but he has told me that its a fuel system fault.
Po230 Fuel Pump Circuit
That was the ECU code. Iv'e checked and i have got good fuel preassure and its all working so will it just be the fuel circuit that needs fixing or replacing?
Thanks,
Alex

Just fixed the fault! Well happy. I went and got a new fuel pump relay, (thanks dave_a for the guide in tutorials bit) and fit it, cleaned out the fuel pump system, and took out a load of sensors and cleaned them.
That might help someone someday, if anyone ever has the same problem.
