had a quote from National Tyres the other week for a new tyre for the astra ( Avon ZZ3 215-35-18 ) - £142 fitted     lol
havent tried other garages yet as not many supply avons, but searched online, and was recommended www.mytyres.co.uk by a mate, and found the tyre for £90 so add maybe £10 to get a garage to fit it.... would save me a bit, but still a bit steep, any ideas?

sounds about rite mate i was about £90 fitted for one 17 tyre.

Is a bit steep. I had 4 new tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago for under £400.

Sounds about right. I was quoted around £200 a tyre fitted for my 18's. It's the price you pay for incredibly skinny tyres.

They can do mobile fitting aswell.

thanks everyone...... a mate of mine works at a local garage, and i thought id give them i try ..... they can do it for £116 fitted. (better than £142 fitted at National Tyres) lol. might aswell just get it done, - for safety reasons lol
