i have a 98 1.4 sport, does my car have a f13 cr or f13 wr?
what cars do the f13 cr come in? do they have the electric sender instead of the cable to the speedo?

pretty sure yours a F15cr
F13's are off nova's???
you can get a cable to electic sensor to convert to electric speedo

F13 were on nova gte/gsi, some mk3 astras etc. F13s are all mechanical speedo.
Yep, corsa sport will have f15cr.

didnt think that the 1.4 sports had f15s 
i may be doing the clutch soon and have heard that these are about the best gearbox you can have, i have a gear box off a early corsa sri but its mechanical instead of electric like i need for mine, and i cant see if its a f13 or f15 and how can you see if its a cr or wr? can you convert the speedo to electric from cable?
is it really worth swapping?

f13cr came in corsa 1.4 16v right up to 1999. all the 2000 models I have worked on came with an f15cr
f15cr came as standard on 1.6 16v

so have i got a f13??? x14xe 1998
has crap gearing - 33 1st - 52 2nd - 78 3rd - 99 4th 120 5th
1st is to short and 2nd to 3rd is too much of a gap
fort f13's have better gearing?

defo a close ratio one, early sri 16v's have f13cr's, but every 97 onwards corsa i have seen including 1.2 8v's have had f15's..

thats wat i thought, ive had a sri, and an early sport, and they sempt a lot more pokier  but ive had 2 98 sports and they dont feel like the other 2,
has anyone got any pics of the markings on the gearbox to show me what im looking for? cheers
