hey people, in a late sport, if the air conditioning and power steering was removed (possibly all the eco stuff on the engine aswell) along with relocating the battery to the boot, would this make any difference to the performance and handling of the car?

Well, if it's completly standard, no.
If it's stripped, then moving the battery to the back MIGHT help with weight distrabution.
But removing AC and PAS will make weigh a little less, obviously, but I don't think u'll notice any performance gains from it.

I moved the battery in mine to the rear, main reason was to get as much weight off the front as possible. Being a 2.0 its quite front heavy!
