what exactly are these? have another engine (x16xe) to put in but unsure whether i have these , i know its a stupid question,but need to know,cheers

u have a transponder receiever which is a black bit that goes around the igntion. has a small place for a plug
transponder chip is merely a chip. thats tiny that is in ur key
