Break the bar into halfs or thirds. Then spray the quick detailer on the clean paintwork and go in up and down and left to right directions. But make sure the paintwork is always lubed up.

The clay bar removed tar, tree sap etc as well as any wax on the paintwork. Therefor you will have to wax it afterwards.

I just flatten the whole bar to the size of my palm then mist the detailer over a panel at a time then rub it over. It will fee like its gripping at first, then become smooth, once it feels smooth move it somewhere else. If the car hasnt been done before, I'd keep folding the clay so it always has a clean surface
