i have read on here to use 10w/40 oil, but I have seen the below prices and different oils, which is the best?
OIL2/6 Oil & Filter change - 10w-40 QXR (up to 2300cc) £20.00
OIL1 Oil & Filter change - Hypergrade 15w-40 (up to 2300cc) £15.00
OIL7 Oil & Filter change - Visco 7000 0w-40 (up to 2300cc) £25.00

10w 40 semi synthetic is the one you need!
or 15w 40 semi sythetic wich is slightly thicker. usefull if your engine is high mileage but not by a great deal.

mines fairly high mileage and is tapping a bit, would you suggst the 15w/40 then?

yeh it wont do any harm mate! i'm going to change from 10w to 15w in a few weeks to see if it makes a difference

Bare in mind the 15w40 may take a bit longer to warm up. So wait at least 15 to 20mins before giving the engine some stick.
