Right my dad has just bought a MK5 vw golf which comes with a standard factory fitted alarm- think it's thatcham approved. He's always had Toad alarms fitted before on his cars and even though this car has come with a factory fitted alarm, does anyone know if it is possible to fit another type of alarm to the car. Sorry in advance if this seems like a silly question but we were just wondering??

Yesit is possible... Ive seen it done on a Mk4 golf 4motion V6 - standard alarm with a Clifford jobbie fitted!
