Fit a flat one off a nova gte.
No point at all lightening the standard Pot fly, when you can get a nova one for about a tenner and its about 4kg lighter.

if i remeber
pot type (x16xe) around 9.5kg
flat type (14xe) around 7kg
my lightened pot type was 5.5kg

Correct
Thats still a decent saving, for the sake of about a tenner and a new clutch cover plate
Whereas a lightened version will cost quite a bit more.

Nova Gte/Gsi
I have a spare one btw, but the face has a few hairline cracks, probably be fine with a skim tho.

I have a nova gsi engine 1.6 i think this is the c16se does this mean i would have this ligher flywheel aswel,
Is there not alimit to how light as the declaration would be slower I'm guessing if it was too light.

The clutch pressure plate does.
And new flywheel bolts.

Picks the revs up quicker. Less weight for the engine to move.
