stripped a midi moto last night in work and when whe went to put head/cylinder over the piston we broke the piston rings!

any tips on how we get them in the cylinder?

also the piston is 39.95mm will that be classed as 40mm?

What type of rings does it use? 2 solid ones?

Yeah, thats what I meant. But there a pretty solid material. You need to push them together so the gap closes.

Then slide the barrel on. Fiddly job.

but in the same way as gaffer tape is the same as welding?
