Read a few pages off Google. The main line of thought for a lumpy and erratic idle (between 500 and 1500RPM) is the ICV is sticking. Anyone else care to give an opinion? Its going in for an oil change at the weekend, doubtful that will cure it but needs doing regardless

will be doing it at the weekend when i get to see it. Ive also been reading the zetec engine benefits from 5/30 oil and that tests using 10/40 oil have shown similar symptoms to mine so ill be seeing what the mechanic says on saturday about that
