possibly yeah.
Is it definately not a flat battery or broken connection in the wiring?

i thought it was solenoid if it clicked but didn't engage?

there's nothing at all. and we've jut spent the best part of an hour checking voltage and wiring etc etc to the motor so all electrics are ok.
Even took out the immobiliser relay and nothing works.
No clicks or anything.
Putting a brand new one on from a garage that was just 'lying around' the guy said. 60 quid

theres voltage going to it but it does nowt.

batterys got 13 volts is fine 
Bit of a bitch though. and i need a new afm and then the rebuild. Im gnar be broke

if you have a good feed to the starter motor and it still doesnt turn over then you have a kernakerd starter motor my friend
