onto smallblock c16xe.

is this possible?.....

if so, is it much hassle? plates spacers etc....

Yes its possible
Needs clutch/fly swap.
And the spacers etc.

You basically need a fly that fits the small block 6 bolt pattern, and a clutch that fits the box and the clutch.
Cant remember 100%, but its something like a 1.7D fly that you have to use.

f13 is plenty strong enough.

well, i dont have a f13.
i have a knackered f15 and a f20.

benig this is the 3rd diff ive killed, i think i should fit something more relaiable this time.
are uprated diff bearings available?

Pointlesss reconning boxes when you can get another for pennies.

What engine do you have? A NA smallblock should never produce enough torque to break a gearbox.
Even turbo'd 1600 8v's are fine on F13s.

3rd gearbox,
all from low low milage corsa's.

first one was f15cr, 2nd f15wr current f15cr.
all the same, outer diff bearing colapses, making the speed transducer rub on the reluctor ring.

its on a c16xe,

if you were putting f20 on a 1.6 16v ignoring clutch issues what mounts would you need?

1.6 engine mount
2.0 gearbox mount std
spaced rear mount?

if for example it was going in a nova or a corsa?
