i have a corsa with the 1.4 8v spi engine and want to get rid of the daft black box on top of my injector, does anyone know what it can be replaced by or has done it before because it looks stupid and really restrictive thanx

you could possibly get a bolt on k&n to fit...

looked everywere for one and cannot find one, i was thinking of getting a custom sort of power pipe made but would seem expensive

something like that should be bodgable... failing that a specific bolt on one for a nova might fit but im not sure of the bolt holes..

i had a carb top filter on mine. one for a nova spi will fit as its the same carb on them. i know because i sold mine to a mate with a nova

Just going suck hot air in from the engine.

Leave the standard spi airbox/tract on.

A carb bolt on wont fit, as most vauxhall carbs have 3 studs/bolts. Spi tb's only have 2

can you not fit like a 1.8 astra or veccy pipr? i no the dont bolt on but will they not fit???
