hey guys my temperature gauge isn't moving off the needle when i start the car, now before i take apart all the coolant housing and drain the coolant fluid to get to the sensor has any1 else had this problem and found that it was something sinple that i can try first?

Earth the sensor wire. If it goes off the scale then it's a dodgy sender.
