Wanting to know how to get the alt out of the engine bay after unbolting it from a C20XE in a Corsa? From what I can see I need to take the engine out? 
Many thanks for any help.

most of it has to be done from underneath mate it aint that bad and you dont have to take the engine out
they are just 13mm bolts i think when i took mine off i found it easier to undo the main bracket on the bottom with 2 the 13mm bolts than the top adjust 13mm and then just the wires off the back job done

Doesn't the drive shaft get in the way?

im sure with my induction pipe out the way mine just got out the top its just mainly the unbolting etc has to be done from underneath

Inlet manifold is in the way from what I saw today.

its was quite a little while ago when i done it mate sorry
i know it wasnt too much of a ball ache though sorry i cant help more dude

I've blown an alternator in my Corsa XE.
It took about half an hour for me to replace. Took it out from the top. Was tight but got it out.

drop it down the way , unbolt bottom ball joint and put hub to the front o the car and it drops out happy days mate .
