i have a 1.012v with the key chip thing, when you turn the ignition 1/2 turns you hear a tick in the glovebox area which i think is the imobilisor or something unsure, however i have just started to hear it when driving, it ticks irratically for a while then stops but doesnt always do it, any ideas what this could be?

Would a ticking noise not more likely be a relay?

ye could be but what relay, i dont use anything bar lights n stereo, ??

sounds as though its passenger side and iv just replaced the fuel pump relay under drivers dash

fairly saure fuel pump relay is passenger side kickpanel on the 1.0ls or at least it has been on the ones i have had in!

hmm well went to auto vaux, bout the part, put it in next to the hazard relay switch and it works...but its blk not purple on 1.0 12v

Fuel pump relay was on the drivers side with mine as well.
Cooling fan relay, headlight relay and air con relay was on the passenger side though i think. Bloody things
