I put a 4-2-1 mainfold on my 1.6 sport.
I took off a bracket from the A/C pump (i think) and it is also attached to the block.
If i leave this off will i have any problems?
Dave A, do you have this on your 1.6? Then again i think he's probably removed it for weight saving..

whenever I fit a new manifold on the air con models I have not had to remove any brackets.

Me neither, I used a Janspeed 4-2-1 on my 1.4 and retained the aircon, only had to remove the manifold and oil filter to do the job, no other bits.

wank
lol i removed the oil filter and manifold but it wouldnt come out so i took off the bracket, I think its just a support for the A/C pump but it has bolts holding it on anyway so i guess it's just a bit of weight saving

the manifold seems to be in the way
Took me long enough to get the scrotting thing on and i dropped my 13mm socket behind the A/C pump lol
