its a 2.0 8v m reg sri use 2 be 1.4 8v, which one would i get a corsa speedo cable or a cavalier one?

And to stop bouncing i think it would be because the springs your using are not the correct poundage for the heavy 2.0 engine

no the whole car bounce's under acceleration not the speedo, the speedo cable has snapped an im askin how much is a new 1 and how do i fit it

Ah right. Clocks out, unclip. Gearbox with spanner undo. Tie the new one to the old one and pull through the bulk head. And fit both sides.

What suspension set up do you have?

50mm springs with new dampers, and cheers for the help with the speedo cable

What make are they?

Then your dampers sound like they are ok.

Give Dave A a ring. He'll get some made up for your car with the 2.0 engine in.
