Hi all,
Got a corsa R-reg X14XE
Recently it's been v.cold (about 0.0/2.0) and ive always made a habit of starting the car with the clutch down.
Since monday morning til this morning, since ive been starting the car (with clutch down) it makes like a slapping noise, favouring the front passenger side of engine (or there abouts) but when i release the clutch, it stops!
Theres no performance lack or anything.
Cheers all

Yea?
Is it possible symptoms like this will lead to failure or could this just be because it was extreme coldness?

slapping noise??
try new clutch.. sounds like the return strips that hold a big metal disk to where the forks push onto has broken a strip.... had this happen on a 107 same symptoms be carefull get it down to a garage or get the gearbox out and have a look (preferably dont drive it.... large metal disk comes loose you are looking at a flywheel atleast and clutch
