Since I now neew to turn my 'pc room' into a baby's bedroom I am buying a laptop.
I have very limited knowledge on laptops so need some advice really on the spec etc? All I really use a pc for is internet.
My home pc is slow as fuck though, takes like 10 minutes to start up etc, so would this be the processor or ram?
Basically I need an idea on what size processor, ram, etc I should be looking at

if going vista get at least 1gb ram, you will regret it if you dont as its realy slow

Make sure it has a centrino processor these are the best combination of processing power\battery life.
Most Vista laptops are 1GB RAM anyway.
What is your budget?
As for your PC maybe it just needs a cleanup mate or reformatting.
