Hi all,
Would the X18XE be very similar to putting a redtop into a corsa B as their both big block engines? Or are there slight differences maybe?
Any advice would be great, cheers

Yep, so long as you go for the older version which is a big block engine. It's the same as fitting an X20XEV so you can use an F20 gearbox or similar and a 2.0 fitting kit. You just need to get the immobiliser to work like in a 1.6 engine conversion.

Ah awesome, cheers for that , just priced up the X18XE conversion kit on a website now, £560!! Not sure if i could potentially get one for a better price?
Cause thinking if can get hold of a astra or vectra with that engine init, i'll have all the bits needed then, cept for shafts etc
