That Poorboys paste stuff is pretty satisfying to use. It leaves a good finish too

they are 2 entirely differnt products
SRP is used as a polish and it has fillers in it to cover up swirl marks and alike.
Wax is used to protect the finish of the polish.

Beat me too it
The Megs wax is great, NXT tech wax keeps mine looking pretty good.
IMO all this new dodo juice etc are an overpriced con. I've tried most of them & the £2 tins from pound shop are as good lol.
I've always stuck to meguiars, reasonably priced compared to the competitors & does what it says on the tub.
Autoglym are bringing out a paste wax soon, that'll definately be on my list though.
PS A Pure polish wont give any protection & your car will be back to pink in no-time, so even if you use the AG SRP, then waxing on tops well worth while.
I get up to 6 months protection from the NXT, but im slightly obsessed & wax every week (or more if i can heh)

Wax is a paint sealent which puts something on the paint the protect it. Polish is an abrasive which polishes - i.e. removes a tiny ammount of material from the surface to give a fresh look.

Get some mould release agent. Cartain types 100% pure carnauba and can be buffed up to an amazing shine that lasts for ages, the best thing is because it doesn't have a fancy name on it, it's cheap.

100% Carnuba would be stronger than concrete!
