Ok so after ages of trying to get into my car then finnaly doing it i tried to fit my headunit.
Well the problem is i took out the old cassette player (blaupunkt) and fitted my new MP57 also a blaupunkt. Now the sockets look the same and it should just slide straight in, well it does but it lights up and turns on but NO SOUND 
Everything works,but no sound and also the radio dosnt tune into any stations.

perhaps not as well connected, also does it need a code to be entered?

i dont think so but will check for a code and i think it isnt connmecting properly aswell but it just slides in and wires wont reach out of center console

ok i think i might of found the reason, the socket on my new one is slightly differnt the tops ones go across instead of down.
