my down pipe to cat connection is blowing the tiniest amount when under load, cant even tell when idleing or reving slightly.

is the tiniest blow from the exhaust a fail?

cool cheers to be excessive would you have to be able to notice it on idle?

plus you can only hear mine when in the car and getting above 3000rpm think it will be ok?

If you put your hand over the tailpipe, and you can hear it badly, it'll probably fail.
It can also affect emissions as it will be drawing air into the exhaust system, which the emissions machine will "see"

the closer the blow is to the engine the less the emissions are affected sounds like it only blows under load when the engine moving cant see it failing

cool

i didnt use the springs when i did it back up as i was using different nuts + bolts and totally forgot.

how much do the springs help? would this be the reason for it blowing eventhough the nuts and bolts are done up super tight?

The springs mean the engine can move, without vibrating the entire exhaust system.
