right,
In my new flat, whenever the (multi)boiler cuts in for heating/hot water etc i lose signal to my tv (digital)
think it could be down to the ammount of extension leads i have used (only 2 sockets in each room!
the smae when the mrs uses her hairdrier..or the shower. gets quite tedious and annoying lol
is there any way of supressing the surge through the ringmain?
its a 30yr old ex-wimpy house (not sure if thats any help on the wiring side lol)

have you had a snoop around the attic at the aerial? As a cheap measure, you could buy a decent booster which may filter out any bad harmonics.
I have a similar thing, but only when the misses uses her phone.
If the aerial is really old, id be tempted to get a decent aerial and booster as they're dirt cheap, (before you start looking at anything else).
