So i have bought one of these to fit to my 1.6 sport........ and i am a little confused!
http://www.hawkcaralarm.com/fullyfit.html
I decided to have ago myself......
The company i bought it from said i would need to buy an additional central locking motor........ however, i have had a look and both the passenger and drivers door both have motors, so why have they told me to buy and extra motor!?
I am right in thinking, i can just connect this system to the existing wires behind the glove box, for earth, live feeds, indicators etc?
Has anybody got any experience or advice?? Wiring diagrams would be helpful!?!?
Cheers

if your central locking works using the key on both doors then you wont need an additional motor mate.if i remember you need a switched ignition live so the alarm doesnt work when youre driving it,an earth,a wire to the wiring on the indicator to make the indicators flash when you arm it then there should be 4 wires to connect to the central locking unit that is located behind the drivers side kick plate in the footwell behind the ecu.ill have a nose around and post the colour of the wires for indicators and central locking and post back.

You will need a positive and earth from the fusebox mate,a multimeter will sort that out for you
For the indicators its best to join the wires at the stalk behind the steering wheel, you use the black and white wire and the black and green wire to make all the indicators flash.
you need the wires connected to each door switch and boot and bonnet
and you need to connect 4 wires to 4 wires going into the central locking ecu but i dont remember what colours but i seem to be thinking red and brown(2 of each)
sorry i cant be anymore help!!
