Tonight when i had full lock on either way and i reversed there seemed to be a crunching noise and im not too sure where its coming from.
Only seems to happen when reversing tho, as driving forward is quiet and normal
Any ideas?

My reverse gear started crunching like hell, had to get new gear linkage and clutch cable adjusted

Nah it only does the crunching noise when its got lock on either way. Reverse is fine if your going in a straight line.
Anything i should try and look on the car for today?

Probably a CV joint, jack one of the front wheels up at a time and drive the wheel backwards while your turning. whichever wheel crunches is the knakared one

Noticed it now only happens when reversing quite fast, or when you do a shar[ acceleration.
Any ideas?
