im having problems with my hydrolic followers. the oil seams to drain from there really quickly, well thats all i can think is happening to them.
from cold there really tappy but quieten down after about 30secs, also when you've driven the car and its warm, if you turn the engine off and start it up again after 5mins, the engine is really tappy for the next min or so.
the tappets that are in there atm are FAI followers so i guess that might be half the problem being patern parts?
anyone have any tips?
im using GM 10w40 semi-synthetic btw

c20xe? They all tap mate, its a bitch but if i remembr rightly (correct me if im wrong) the only way to stop it is to put adjustables in there and keep it up to date with regular servicing,
