47 Linear exhaust gas re-circulation (EGR) position n/a

any ideas?

doesnt start up very well take alot of revving etc

and it idles very high when started

43 - on your coil.could have shit in the primery ignition slot.theres 4 wires,clean them up if not try another coilpack

47 - is your egr loose? check pipework for hairiline crack/split

any pics of where the EGR valve is?

it's to the righthand of the inlet manifold as you look under the bonnet, kind of underneath it. total ball-ache to get to
