Hi all

Right.. Basically when i put my foot right to the floor the car gets to 3,500-4,000 revs and the ecu light comes on and slows right down and is lumpy to drive but if i raise my foot off the floor the revs go up fine :S

I was thinking the air flow meter but not sure what to do to it where it is etc or if it is even that thats causing the problem.

sounds like afm

its found in between the air box and the top of the tb

got a plug on it

unplug it see if its any different

how many pins should it have. the one i have pulled out has 2 and when its disconnected the ecu light is on.. is this the one? its plugged into the side of the engine and connected to the pipe on the air box

im not sure about how many wires it was years ago i had an ecoshed

its a bosch unit iirc

chances are its that anyway. same on a x10xe (1.0 12v) as it is on a x12xe (1.2 16v)

ok i will take it for a driv end see.. also someone said if i reset my ecu it could help cos i hav an k&n filter.. what you think
