Had some golf wheels delivered today,
They are well smart, just what i have been looking for!
The are ET25 they fit really well!
Tyres currently on need replacing, they are 195/50/15 currently and are standard.
Current tyres stick out from the arch a tiny tiny bit, i wanted to get a stretch on the new set.
Was wondering, what size, make/model tyres i should get. (Just want a stretch to tuck the tyres in a little).
Help much appreciated as i have no idea when it comes to tyres! DAN

nankangs and bridgestones are your options
nankangs give a J shape when stretched as you can see from luke;s and bridgestones give a more rounded stretch more like mine above
personally i would go for nankangs, they cheaper and look kool

as said above, 175 or 165s should do the trick. 145s on a 7j rim are extreme.
i can't find any tyres fitters that will do 165s let alone 145s!!
nankangs are not meant to be very good at all, on clubpolo they reckon they're ditch finders... bridgestone in 165s are meant to be a good option

nankangs are not ditch finders AT ALL just another lets jump on the bandwagon my mate bla blaa blaaa
ALOT of people use nankangs due to their cheapness, they dont wear to quick and they make some awesome sizes
if they are ditch finders why do alot of the top vdubs out there use them ? surely they wouldnt trust their award winning cars on shit tyres ...

i paid 160 fitted and balanced but thats a very special rate
only done about 100 miles on them so far so not sure. with the stretch though there isnt loads of tyre in contact with the road though so i would pay the extra to get decent tyres over the nankang mate

Ok cool, so its £32.50 for the nankangs and £37.81 for the bridgestones. Not sure what postage costs occur.
Are the bridgestones worth the extra fiver and buldge stretch or should i get th nankangs for the J shape and fiver less....

Kangaroojack speaks sense. Nankang are more popular for strethcing over the bridgestones. most say they give a better stretch (the j-shaped stretch) and are alot easier stretching than other makes.
I did loads of searching. MY tyres were the cheapest. and go for 165/50/15 mate. nice bit of stretch and not to hard to get on using the cheeter.
