Baiscally the turbo itself doesn't seem to be working, although when stationary and revved it seems you can hear the turbo spin, when moving there is no difference in power.
I.e. the turbo isn't working or not working properly.

Any ideas people? I'm really not clued up on these engines as you can see

Might be loosing boost pressure, could be inlet manifold gasket blown, split pipe between the turbo and inlet manifold, pipe come off the boost compensator (on top of the injection pump behind inlet manifold), pipe split between the turbo and wastegate, wastegate stuck open.
Other reasons for low boost could be a restriction in the inlet side or the exhaust side.

Also the pressure release valve on the front of the inlet manifold could be faulty and bleeding off the boost.

It is really really slow atm, just no power at all and isn't revving up to 3/4k as it should.

Haven't been able to get to the car unfortunately

It will rev up to 3/4k but not the way it used to, it rises revs a lot slower, plus she doesn't drive it hard!
