by any chance can u put a 1.6 inlet cam into a 1.2 8v engine if you can how do you do it and wht gains wud i get ?? im getting 2.0l 8v soon neway just sommit to try and see wot it does ???

how can you fit an inlet camshaft to an engine that uses a single camshaft for exhaust and inlet?

you could use a nova gsi one, as that's 8v..


but it's rather pointless, if your gonna be changing engine soon, just wasting money really, or no real gains

thanks stel i read tht thread nd tht all to do wid carbs nd stuff i think mine injection wud it b more help if i sed its a 1.2 ls corsa
plz gta b sommit can do lol other than scrapyard cuz wanna blow sme twat away and prove him rong tht a 1.2 is gna beat him lol

if you really must tune it..

8v sri cam
8v sri manifold & downpipe
de-cat
exhaust system
cav 1.6 spi throttle body
1.4 injector
panel filter


will properly few up a few bhp, but it's still not gonna be quick though
