Right update on this incase anyone can help. I have removed the ball joints from the plate. The plate is held in place with a pin, which shold come out once the clips are bent out to get the pin out. I have bent the clips so they are not holding anything but i cant get the pin out does anyone know if i have missed something or is the pin rusted in and requires some brute force for it to come out?

Use a drift and a big hammer. That will get it out.

well thats me given up now, pin wont budge tried everything. Think it might be a garage job im afraid

The pin that it all pivots on? If you have bent them out, will it wiggle? I think that you may need a long flat screwdriver. Try and tap it out from under the car.

Yea the pin mate. Its seized solid, pin wont move at all. Getting it on the ramps on friday and taking the gearbox mount off as the clamp is attached to it then chap it out hopefully, some hassle just for a short shift but im determined to fit it. Tried chaping it but cant really get to it without the mount being off
