Hi, could anybod possibly shed some light on where I could feed the power cable through to the battery for an amp install in the boot? the car is an asra mk4 1999

Take out the glovebox and drill a hole through the engine loom cover which is to the left iirc.
You should drill from inside the car and ideally have someone else keep watch the the other side. This is what i did :thumbsup:

i think youll be drilling a hole thru a rubber grommet that the loom already goes thru,not drilling the bulk head or anything.Itll keep it all waterproofed up too!

Yeah, its plastic- not the bulkhead itself so it does no harm. Plus as said; you can easily seal it up 
The only other way is to put it through the heater filter (i think) or drill the actual bulkhead.

Depending on what engine you have, if you have a "fly by wire" style throttle (electronic) above the accelerator pedal is a rubber grommet which is the perfect size for a 4 awg power cable to fit through.
If you have a throttle cable then you do have to drill through the bulkhead.
