I filled my F16 up with gearbox oil last night, only to find that it started seeping from the driveshaft seal on the engine side.

The box has been stood for about a year now, with no movement or heat. Does it need replacing or will it seal itself if i were to heat it up/run it for a bit??

If it needs replacing, how difficult is it? Is it simply a case of pop that one out and push a new one in??

seals can be a pain to get out but its an easy enough job,had to do it to my f20 box
