Is there anyway you can turn the service reminder off on a vauxhall without paying them to do it?

hold the button in that resets the milage before you turn the ignition on, keep holding it then turn the ignition on till the lights come on then keep holding the button till it stops saying service

but if she's had it serviced in a small garage or done it herself then the light wont get fixed. The service light only comes on after 10K miles or 1 year after reset. The car doesnt actually know it needs to be serviced.

The car has been serviced!! Just not at Vauxhall!!

didnt no it had been
but garage should of switched it off when serviced
