could i use a clamp or say a cable tie to tighten the pipe a bit would this affect the pressure or airflow much?

or is there any kind of restrictor things i can put in the pipe to restrict the airflow.

If you're talking about the air intake, why?

Tightening a section of the pipe would create a convergent-divergent nozzle - the same principle as a restrictor.

its to stop the bloody buzzing on this gauge... theres too much air getting to it and escaping (i think) so at the moment there is a tpeice in there that has a restrictor on it, but i need to restric the flow more

edit: spo tightening the pipe will act as a restrictor according to rcs

Why don't you stop the air escaping?

in a vaccumepipe/ hose?
*slip a smaller dia pipe inside if you can, venturi effect.
*or join with a larger dia pipe, create turbulence.
*increase the length of the pipe.
*or tee of ito 2 pipes then tee back into one.
