duno if im posting this in the right place but whayy!
i bought this set of neons of ebay. but they dont have a 12v lighter plug thing with them, so i guess i have to wire them to the battery or sumting, ive got a wee diagram with it, but i dont understand it at all, and i have tried 2 do it numerous times and faild, i went n bought extra wiring so that it could reach the battery, but whatever i did, jus melted the wires and made sparks :L lol whooops  so please gimmie sum help, and i culd send pics to peps emails if they tink they culd help . cheeerz

If you melted the wires the neon’s may be F***ed try directly wiring them up under the bonnet no extra wire. if they still work, the best place to wire into is the light in the ash trey.

white power wires, n then you connect them into a wee black box n then red n yellow wires cum out of that, into a switch

The same ones are wired into my MR2  i didnt put them in but they look ok.
I have a spare switch so ill take pics tonight and someone can show you what goes where.

this shoud be easy best way to go is wire them onto the biggy lighter so if you take the lil ashtray out you should be able to get ciggy lgiht out behind there u got brown / black wires i think pos brown neg black obv neeed a total of like 30 cms of cable and ur sorted

So you have four of them? The listing does say they send you two!
Firtsly, if you are not competent you should not mess with your car electrics.
If you feel you have the skills then you shouldn't relly need to be asking how to connect two wires up.
I recommend asking a mate who knows what he's doing. And DON'T forget to fuse them or you might wake up one day to a burnt out wreck on your driveway.
It really should be as simple as connecting the ground wire to a suitable earth point on your car, then the live wire needs connecting to a switch with a fuse as close to the power source as possible. ensure the fuse is the correct rating a 10 amp will do for the pair.

yea i do have to sets one set is in the car atm, and other set is in the box still. ino it should be simple enuff. but as they arnt made for cars. i need to cut some of the existing wires away and attatch more. havent done it before. im good at wiring up speakers amps subs ps2 etc.. jus tot i wuld try this myself and i cnt do it, sooo thats why i was asking for help.
