i would never spend less than 200 on suspension again. wouldnt get coilovers for less than 500. just get some good shocks and springs. for the money you cant beat bilsten b10s. go mine for 315 best thing i have ever bought for the car

bought some of those cheap jamnex coilover things they were shite coroded easily felt sloppy rather quickly. didnt quite fit right. also had gmax shocks and springs. not bad but still felt sloppy after a while and rather harsh towards the end. both got thrown n the bin eventually. the b10s are really firm but also comfier than anything else i have had.

I had Spax RSX coilovers on mine for 2 years and both fronts leaked and the locking rings seized on both - rears were very good though and the damping adjustment good as well.
I then bought FK Highsport coilovers and now after 2 years they have gone the same way although only one front leaking this time. Again the rears are ok.
Now I am looking at those Bilsteins that have the inverted inserts in them although they are £330 per side for the front there is probably nothing better.
Cheap coilovers are a false economy if you are planning on keeping the car but in the short term (12-18 months) they are ok. After that they will most likely be dead!

I have Spax RSX and they were £530ish new
Never had any problems with them though and are height adjustable at the front and damping at the rear
