i have recently changed my fuel pump/tank then the car decided not to start so i was having to clean the plugs every coupla days now the car wont start at all. when you turn it over it backfires. any help? i have ordered a new fuel pump relay but could someone put a pic up so i know what one it is, thanks for the help its for a x16xe

oh also mate

on the fuel rail are you getting fuel properly if you push the nipple in?

forgot to mention the plugs are always black does that not mean overfueling? anyway of finding out why or how its overfueling? i have no engine managment light coming on

so you have replaced the plugs and they keep going black

you tried replacing the leads?

never thought of that ive got the service stuff there just not done it yet cause it dont start and when it did the plugs were always going black, will put more new plugs and the leads tommorrow and get back to you

changed the plugs leads and fuel filter, it still doesnt start i checked the plugs after trying to start it they were fine, there was petrol on them, it as if its not getting a spark now?

autoparts says they were lol,
i cant find the relay its not in that position of that pic and cheers mate

it will be down in the driver side footwell somewhere mate.

i have that bit the ecu sits in thats it lol no relay on the side of it, will it be in the fuse box?
