My Corsa has no problems with the deflectors at all.
Try adjusting the running bar that the window runs on, It's bolted to the do with 2 bolts.

well i noticed i can stop the passenger window loads easier than the drivers side one. it can be moved 1 or 2cm if the window is half way up if you pull the window itself. not sure if this would make a difference. how do i adjust the running bar?

Take door card off, Somewhere under the interior door handle is 2 bolts, Think they're 10 or 13mm. On the inside of the door is a bar that the window runs in, These 2 bolts hold this to the door.
Loosen the bolts off and move the bar as required then retighten the bolts.
It's just trial and error until it operates right.

My sport has automatically adjusting window sensors.
All you have to do is put the window down then tap the window button untill it is fully closed then hold the close window button down untill you hear clicking inside the door. do that a few times and the window will recognise where is has to stop. Came back down twice in the first few days but now goes up every time.

thats just to configure the 'one touch' mate.
get some dry lube and spray all the window rubbers, the window will go up alot faster if you do that, plus the motor wont send the window back the otherway when it hits a sticky spot on the rubber

I always use silicone grease on the rubbers. Works a treat.
