Rite, got the head back off my 106 1.4 diesel.
The top of the block is covered in water so how do I go about getting it out? Its everywhere, in the bolts holes ect..
Obviously need to get it out because the bolts wont tighten otherwise. Any ideas?

Done it now. Syringe and a straw on the end. Just need to clean up the mating faces, check the head aint warped woth a steel ruler and start to put it back together. Hope it runs properly once done.

Get an air gun and blow it out but watch out as it goes everywhere!
Did this on mine, but your right mate the water can cause hydrolic build up and crack the block.
