Iv got a c20let runnin 11psi of boost, but over the past week of having it on the road, it really seems to have started struggling to pull.
I thought it was the air feed pipe to the turbo being squashed between the slam panel and engine, so i've cut some of the panel away to give it more room.
But also, i have noticed a small oil patch appearing on the front of my intercooler, indicating a leak. Would this make a difference that i could notice?
Would not enough cold air make it lag because i was considering fitting a cold air feed to the air filter?
Thanks

I dont think it is. It has been on the road since last thursday and it has been fine, but over the past couple of days it lags every now and again. Sometimes, it wont lag at all, othertimes quite often

how is the oil getting onto the front of the intercooler? where is it coming from?
if its coming out the intercooler then yes, thats a core problem. and also more than likely a turbo seal problem.

Yeh its coming out the intercooler. Oil wise, its only very slight. I was told most turbos have a fine mist of oil that gets past the seals....

yeah, but ideally that shouldnt be coming out through the intercooler core. nothing should be.
