on my 1.6 sport corsa b, recently the eml has been comin on, then the car cuts out, so i restart it, and all is fine. well it seems fine, drives perfect still...
will i need to get it on a computer to see whats goin on or is it a commen fault which may have a simple solution?
any ideas or opinions greatly appreciated

when slowing down the speedo sends a signal to your ecu, if you sort your speedo out this shoud sort that and also get rid of your eml if no other faults

depends, either speedo cable, the plastic driver in the box or clocks
check speedo cable first, if its not that take clock out, plug speedo cable into the clocks then spin the cable by had cant remember if its clockwise or anit but the speedo shud twich a little bit if that all works but still doesnt on the car take the plastic driver (worm drive) out the box and check thats ok
worm drive is the thing you screw youur speedo cable onto its a little 10mm bolt holding it in
hope this helps

If it only cuts out when you are slowing down then it will be the speed sensor, if its random them its probably crank sensor.
