Any ideas? Im going to look at it in a bit but wondered if there were any common things to look at first? All i know is the collar lifts up fine but the stick wont move into position.

Has it had the gear linkage replaced as they were recalled a few years back. May be that?

Ok i had a look and the plastic top bar bit on the linkage had just popped off. Is this the bit that was re-called? It didnt seem to be a particularly good fit so im going to get a new one from Vaux tomorrow.

Yeh pretty sure the plastic linkages were replaced with uprated metal ones. Mine's post facelift so had the uprated one anyway so not totally clued up on the differences.
Hope it's sorted now anyway

Yeah common problem, its £40ish from vaux for the new bit.

Got the new linkage, looks the same as the old one though
